Sela was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Augusta, Georgia along with her 3 siblings. Childhood was always filled with music, food, dancing, laughter, bickering, and great inspirations for stories!

She now lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband and works as an elementary special education teacher by day. When not teaching, she is writing or gathering inspiration in one of the many notebooks she has laying around the apartment! :)

The Emerald of the Night is her first published book.
