Nicolás Dorta nace en Guía de Isora (Tenerife) en 1978. Es licenciado en Filosofía por la Universidad de la Laguna. Durante más de una década ha dedicado su vida profesional al periodismo, en Diario de Avisos, Agencia Efe y Europa Press, entre otros medios. Actualmente es profesor de Filosofía en un instituto de secundaria en Lanzarote. Las zonas comunes es su primer libro de relatos.
