Adam D. Searle is an author from West Molesey in Surrey, UK. At the age of 5 he was diagnosed with dyslexia and could not read or write until he was 11. Adam had a very active imagination and used to create his own stories from books and comics. Adam discovered his love for reading after discovering a new book series called Goosebumps! He started to learn to read with the help from his mum and knew from then that he wanted to write his own books. The Big & The Little Monster was written back in 1994 and published in 2017. His book Goodbye Mother Bear was nominated and shortlisted for The Write Blend Book Award 2022.

Away from the desk Adam enjoys walking, nature, playing his guitar, surfing and collecting autographs. He loves watching films and has the one film credit in the film Next Door directed by Matt Shaw.
