Fernando de León nació en Guadalajara, Jalisco, en 1971. Fundador y subdirector de la revista El Zahir. Editor de la revista Luvina. Es autor de los libros de cuento: La estatua sensible (1996), La obscuridad terrenal (2001), Cárceles de invención (2003), La sana teoría (2006), Apuntes para una novísima arquitectura (2007); y la novela Historia del ojo y lo volátil (2010).
