Karim Amghar is schrijver, programmamaker en mbo-docent.

Hij schrijft voor De Correspondent en Trouw en is auteur van de boeken Van radicaal naar amicaal en Hoor mij zie mij. Als programmamaker en presentator maakt hij televisieseries voor Human en NTR over mentale gezondheid, kansengelijkheid en diversiteit. Hij presenteerde veelgeprezen programma’s als Het M-Woord en De Maastrichtse droom.

In 2018 won Karim de Compassieprijs en in 2024 de titel Jonge Toezichthouder van het Jaar.
