Michael Hines is a freelance digital illustrator and graphic designer with Asperger Syndrome who has always found joy in creating. He was born in Farnborough, England, and has always been drawn to the creative arts. Inspired by cinematic classics like Indiana Jones and The Lord of the Rings, he studied art, design, and media, earning a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Animation Production from Ravensbourne University in 2013.

Alongside his design work, Michael co-wrote and illustrated "What Autism Means To Me", a collaborative book offering first-hand insight into life on the spectrum. He now focuses on creating richly imagined fantasy adventures, beginning with his debut novel, Magick Quest – Echoes of Darkness.
