My new book Abramelin now available on Amazon

In Abramelin, the magic doesn’t wait for permission—once you awaken it, the danger coils around you like a living force, tightening with every step you take. It moves with an ancient intent, patient and merciless, reshaping the path until the only way out is through.

Violet Rose, a creative writing graduate with a drinking problem and a penchant for the occult, makes the decision to treat the Abra Read more of this blog post »

“Celebrities and famous people live in a translucent bubble. When common people (for want of a better term) see a celebrity, the skin of the bubble of fame serves to magnify and elevate the celebrity in the eyes of the common people. And conversely when the celebrity views the common people outwardly through the translucent skin of the bubble they live in, they see the common people as diminished.

Although it is understandable that the celebrity wishes to have all the power and advantage of their elevated status it is somewhat naïve and selfish that most of them want to also be able to communicate with the common people as the common people communicate with each other, when it suits the celebrity. That is, in their leisure time when they go out in public to a bar or café.

In other words, they want to be treated as a common person in such a public situation, yet on the other hand enjoy the perks of being a celebrity. They want to have their cake and eat it too. In this untenable situati

“Sadly, you cannot convert fame to intelligence.”
Jack Freestone

“I go on the same walk once or twice each week. There is one part of the walk, around one kilometre, which is my favourite part. And when I walk down that short part, I get the most remarkable ideas, especially related to my writing, often quotes. At some point, I recognized this as a pattern, and so now it always occurs, like magic. I have always felt that certain geographical areas vary in energy, some good for me, and some less good, even bad energy. Countries, areas, and cities vary in this way. So, when you find that special energy place, you can collect good energy, and other benefits, from simply walking through it.”

“If we are all streams of consciousness, then apart from genetic similarities, and conditioning, we are all strangers to our siblings.”
Jack Freestone

“People are like icebergs, you only see ten percent of them.”
Jack Freestone

“The saying, “They sold their soul to the Devil for fame,” has been proven to be accurate. Even if people initially gained fame due to their talents and skills rather than from outside assistance, they inevitably sold it later to maintain that elevated level of fame, fortune, and status.”
Jack Freestone

“When you lie and do wrongs to others, you lie and do wrongs to yourself. That is why it is impossible to escape karma, in the long term.”
Jack Freestone

“Like many things, politics only exists in the minds of the citizens.”
Jack Freestone

“If a plant is wild, living in a forest, it is not reliant on you at all. Dig that plant up, and resettle it in your garden, then it is slightly reliant on you. But if you put that plant in a pot, and bring it into your house, then it is totally reliant on you. It can no longer be called wild, and no longer survive, or breed, without your help. And that is what your leaders are constantly trying to do to you.”
