Love by Michael S.A. Graziano
"What I find myself questioning most after finishing Love is whether this is a story about connection… or about the illusion of it.

In the earlier chapters, the artist’s world feels open, even in its struggle. But as the relationship progresses, that o" Read more of this review »

“To the extent that heaven above is isolation, it seems to be hell. To the extent that hell below is a crowd, it apparently is heaven. Maybe we are condemned to an endless nagging sense of discomfort balanced against comfort, satisfaction against the itch to escape.”
Michael S.A. Graziano, The Divine Farce

“We depend on each other to lift ourselves up. Suffering is craving is fear is delusion clinging to selfhood, clinging to objects, clinging to the trivia that we think makes us happy. Clinging to superficialities. Clinging to the covering that separates us from each other. Strip off all that delusion, and we take a step forward toward each other and a step toward enlightenment.”
Michael S.A. Graziano

“The world is not what it is: the world is what you make it.”
Michael S.A. Graziano, The Divine Farce
