Jessica DeGorter is an up-and-coming children’s author. Originally from southern California, she has planted roots on the opposite coast in Smithtown, New York, a charming town on Long Island. She lives there with her husband and two children. Being animal lovers, they also share their home with their cat and three dogs, two of whom were recently rescued. Jessica has spent the last sixteen years working as a billing specialist in behavioral health. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and playing in the backyard with her family and pets. Jessica’s love for writing began at an early age, when she enjoyed creating short stories and poetry.
