Over the Christmas period, I read Little Women and Good Wives by Louisa M. Alcott with my daughter. She is ten, so we had lots of pauses to answer questions (so, does Jo like Laurie? Does Laurie like Jo? Why does Mr Brooke have Meg's glove? What's a charabanc?)
