Gerardus Godefridus Johannes Alexander (Geert-Jan) Knoops (1960, Eindhoven) is a Dutch lawyer, criminal law expert and professor of international criminal law at the University of Utrecht. He gained national fame when he obtained an acquittal for the two alleged perpetrators in the Putten murder case and the Eric O. case, about which he wrote the book Het tweede schot.
