Chobela is a German Zambian bi-racial writer. She was born and raised in Zambia and spent many years studying abroad in Australia, the United Kingdom and Germany.

Her bi-racial identity and multicultural life experience have given her an earnest curiosity in the exploration of characters and emotional experiences; and how this common life experience binds us all regardless of our culture or environment. She has a keen interest in literary fiction and in discovering the beauty and human unity in how life is lived.
