Philip Reari is a Washington, D.C.-based writer and editor working by day to reduce industrial pollution and enforce environmental laws and by morning and evening to compose fiction and raise children. Previously a climate reporter, his work has been published by Dissent, Grist, Huffington Post, Mother Jones, n+1, Wired, and many others. His first book, “Eat Your Damn Vegetables,” was shortlisted for the Santa Fe Literary Awards. His second book, “Earth Jumped Back,” will be published by Black Rose Writing on July 18, 2024.
