唐福睿在臺灣取得法律碩士學位，並以律師為業五年後，獲得教育部公費獎學金，赴美國加州藝術學院（CalArts）攻讀藝術創作碩士，主修電影導演。以成為編導並重的創作者為目標，得益於法學訓練及訴訟經驗，擅長以寫實手法描繪法律制度下的人性困境。首部原創電影劇本《童話世界》斬獲許多獎項，並順利執導筒開拍，預計2022年上映。
