Finding time to write is never an easy task. For far too long, traditional careers and family obligations interrupted my creative side.

I started my career after graduating from William and Mary Law School. My husband served twenty years as a military service member and, as we prepared for his retirement, we ran a small business on the side.

After years of putting off my passion for writing, and a stint on our local City Council, I decided to start a new chapter in my life as a writer.

My first short story, Fractions of Sanity, placed second in a national contest and motivated my first novel of the same name. Please follow me on a journey to create the ultimate Beach Read and other great works yet to come.
