David Streets was born in England but has lived in suburban Chicago for most of his life. He is an environmental scientist with advanced degrees in physics. He specializes in the study of air pollution and how to control it so that we can all breathe easier. He has helped to improve the air in many parts of the world, particularly Asia. He is a world-renowned researcher with more than three hundred publications in the scientific literature. He was a named contributor to the work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
