S. J. Greene lives in San Diego, California with her husband and adorable rescue dog, both of whom are the loves of her life. She enjoys spending time in nature and, of course, reading books! Her passion for writing evolved from a creative outlet—needed to balance her overly analytical mind.

Though romance is at the heart of all her stories, S. J. Greene likes to color outside the lines when it comes to genres. In her Fresh Start standalone series, When Love Hurts (Book 1) is a romantic suspense novel with crime elements, whereas When Love Heals (Book 2) falls under contemporary women’s fiction with romance and LGBTQ elements. Loved the premise, in-depth research, and amazing storytelling that went into this book! This was my first time reading a novel by Jodi Picoult, but I’m definitely a fan now. Emilia Bassano will not be forgotten. <3
