Boro Kontić



Boro Kontić is the director of Mediacentar Sarajevo since 1995. He is the author of the documentary movie “Years eaten by lions”, about journalism and hate speech in ex-Yugoslavia between 1991. and 2010. He has been the president of the Independent Union of BiH journalists.

During the war in Sarajevo, he was a member of the Management Board of Radio-Television of B&H, and then a reporter for Voice of America.

Before the war, he was the editor-in-chief of Radio Sarajevo Youth Program and then of Radio Sarajevo Program II. He started radio broadcast in 1979 by producing and hosting a live show called Primus.
