Dr. Jamie L. Molaro holds a Ph.D. in Planetary Science from the University of Arizona. She is a Research Scientist at the Planetary Science Institute and Affiliate at the Caltech-Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and spends her days exploring the landscapes of other worlds throughout the solar system.

While her research might focus on a modern creation story of our place in the universe, it is her passion for myth, ancient history, and storytelling that feeds her writing. Her works combine myth, magic, and cosmos to explore human nature, go on adventures, and contemplate the subtlety of words.

She is also an artist and maker who creates art using scientific data from spacecrafts, a lover of games of all kinds, and a harpist. She lives in southern Ca
