Novinář, komentátor Českého rozhlasu, externí spolupracovník Deníku N a serveru Seznam Zprávy. Vystudoval žurnalistiku na newyorské Hunter College. Přes deset let působil ve Spojených státech jako dopisovatel Lidových novin. Předtím pracoval v MF Dnes a rok strávil na Tchaj-wanu. Mezi lety 2018 a 2020 žil ve venezuelském Caracasu, kde pracoval pro řadu amerických médií jako Miami Herald, Christian Science Monitor a Daily Beast. V posledních letech procestoval desítky zemí v Jižní Americe, Asii a Africe.
