“Words are like shards of glass. By themselves they're worthless; however, when placed together in just the right way, they can become great works of art.”

“Writing is the dragon that lives underneath my floorboards. The one I incessantly feed for fear it may turn and devour my ass. Writing is the friend who doesn't return my phone calls; the itch I'm unable to scratch; a dinner invitation from a cannibal; elevator music for a narcoleptic. Writing is the hope of lifting all boats by pissing in the ocean. Writing isn't something that makes me happy like a good cup of coffee. It's just something I do because not writing, as I've found, is so much worse.”

Thank you for accepting! Glanced through your blog and have to agree that Forever Knight is a guilty pleasure. I have been known to pop those DVDs in every now and then....
Sue wrote: "Hi Lisa. I just starting reading The Darkness and the Night: Blood and Coffee. I am really enjoying the book so far."I'm glad to hear it. Readers and reviewers have told me that each book gets progressively better. Twins of Darkness is definitely my favorite of the three. I'd love to hear your feedback when you're finished with the series.
