I was born and raised in Utica, New York and now live in Sauquoit. My husband, soul mate and love of my life, Jack, passed away in 2009. I have 8 grown children and 21 grandchildren. I've loved to read and write since I was a child and always hoped to be a published author. When my children were all in school I went to college become a teacher. I taught for 14 years before retiring in June of 2006. I wrote and illustrated 5 books in the Erie Canal Cousins Series: Erie Canal Cousins (2007), Three Weeks in Utica-Book 2(2008), Albany Homecoming-Book 3(2009), Canal Town Christmas-Book 4, and Stars Over Buffalo-Book 5 and the end of this Series. I’m Back & Searching My Ancestry

It’s been a long time since wrote in this blog. But I’ve decided to get it going again. Since I have a link to it on my website, I thought I should come here at least once a week or so to connect with all of my friends and fans of my books.


I now have eight books under my belt and taking a break while I work on my ancestry. I had an Ancestry DNA test taken and found out that I am 97% East European
