Robert Schechter writes poetry for children, as well as adult light verse and poetry translations. His first book of children's poems, "The Red Ear Blows Its Nose," will be published in early 2023. His poems and translations have appeared in Highlights for Children, High Five, Cricket, Ladybug, Spider, The Caterpillar, The Washington Post, The Spectator, Salon, The Evansville Review, and many other journals, as well as in many anthologies.
