Lovely story about the complex feelings of missing the other parent while going back and forth between them. Divorce is difficult for children and this story does a great job of NOT glossing over the pain, but still offers the reader hope.

This is a wonderful story about overcoming fear. Sometimes we have to do hard things. This book is a great example of the pride and confidence that follows stepping out. The artwork is glorious! The bright colors complement this story beautifully.
