A.R. Swift plots novels and crafts worlds from her home in Colorado. She has been teaching and learning languages in North America and Asia since 2004. A child of the 80's, she grew up moving around: from the Manhattan cityscape, to a cult commune in Indiana, to the manicured suburbs of the midwest. She spent her early adult years learning Mandarin, taking risks, and teaching in Asia before settling in Colorado to raise four children. Her breadth of experience offers a unique perspective on humanity and culture that shapes depth in her characters and complexity in her worldbuilding.
