Michela Matteoli è Professore Straordinario di Farmacologia, Dipartimento di Biotecnologie Mediche e Medicina Traslazionale, Università di Milano e Direttore del Programma di Neuroscienze, Istituto Clinico Humanitas. E’ Membro dell’Academia Europaea e dell’ International Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of the Paris School of Neuroscience; Membro del Consiglio Scientifico della Fondazione Umberto Veronesi; Membro del Comitato Scientifico del Centro di Cultura Scientifica A. Volta e del Direttivo del Centro di Eccellenza per le Malattie Neurodegenerative. Ha ottenuto Fellowships da EMBO e IBRO, è stata coordinatrice di progetti finanziati da enti internazionali, tra cui NATO e HFSP, ed è partner in vari progetti europei.
