David Dann is an author who describes himself as “a simple man with simple needs.” Diagnosed with verbal apraxia at the age of two and autism at the age of four, David had trouble expressing himself from a young age. Growing up, he found a deep connection to animals—especially his family dogs Lily, Lola, and Leia, which provided emotional support and ultimately the inspiration to write this book. Reading and watching science fiction also helped David discover more about himself and his passion for storytelling.
