KK Monroe grew up terrified of what lived in her overhead bedroom vent—and the rest is history, so to speak! First-born American to Serbian parents raised under an oppressive communist regime, her life as a kid didn’t involve censorship of books or movies. As a result, KK lane-hops genres in both her reading and writing interests. Her short fiction works have appeared in Screams from the Dark Ages Anthology, Cosmic Horror Monthly, with more forthcoming releases this year.
