I went into this almost blind, with only the vaguest notion of the plot following a slave rising against his oppressors. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey overall, it got me hooked and turning the pages. And I'm excited to see where the story will go. ...more

I read this based on Oathbringer's intro suggesting it's smaller story bridges the books. While clearly not absolutely necessary to the plot progression, it was a quick read, and a fun little sidequest following a character that intrigued me in Storm ...more
