Fueled by his love of reading, Indie Author, Russell Cowdrey introduces his audience to a new world filled with historical science fiction wrapped up in a fantasy blanket of aliens, magic, archaeology, military history, romance, and found family.

Before launching his debut series of Lamentations and Magic in 2023, Russell used his imagination to innovate software and set out to follow his dream of being his own boss.

Inspired by the success of other KU writers, Russell set out to write novels he enjoyed reading. After hours of research and an abundance of literature ideas, Russell's writing career came into focus.

great ending to the series Well written military sci-fi, but some of the prep details in the first third slowed down the pacing and did not quite equal the page turner of book 2, still, the ending made up for it.

Fun read, solid space warfare story The pacing of the book was excellent with enough mystery to keep the suspense up. A little less fighting and life and death moments than the first book, but a solid setup for what is to come.
