Fueled by his love of reading, Indie Author, Russell Cowdrey introduces his audience to a new world filled with historical science fiction wrapped up in a fantasy blanket of aliens, magic, archaeology, military history, romance, and found family.

Before launching his debut series of Lamentations and Magic in 2023, Russell used his imagination to innovate software and set out to follow his dream of being his own boss.

Inspired by the success of other KU writers, Russell set out to write novels he enjoyed reading. After hours of research and an abundance of literature ideas, Russell's writing career came into focus.

fun premise - good short story full of self-deprecation Everyone loves a loser but should they love a mass murderer? You find yourself both rooting for an against Captain Mendoza. I mean you want him to fail just to see what happens next.
