Carola M. Lowitz, geboren 1979 in Frankfurt am Main, machte ihre Liebe zum Geschichtenerzählen als Regieassistentin, Dramaturgin und Regisseurin an Theatern zum Beruf, bevor sie Drehbuch und Dramaturgie an der HFF Konrad Wolf studierte. Seitdem schreibt sie Drehbücher, Hörspiele und neuerdings auch Jugendromane. Sie lebt mit ihrer Familie, einem Hund und drei Katzen in Niedersachsen.
