Kierstin Cherry was born in a tiny village in northern New England. Forced to attend an all-girl parochial school, she led the other girls in a revolt against the nuns and escaped into the wild. Raised by wolves and fairies, she found her calling as a semi-shy author of lesbian erotic romance and a senior editor for Loose Id. She graduated in 2011 with her MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University.

Although Kierstin has a quirky, irreverent sense of humor, she is very serious about her work as an author and senior editor. She puts the romance back into necromancy with her erotic vampire lesbian stories including “Graced” featured in the Lambda-nominated anthology Women of the Bite and in her full-length Thorns & Hearts series
