Andrea Giardina (Palermo, 1949) è uno storico italiano.

Si occupa prevalentemente di storia sociale, amministrativa e politica del mondo romano e della fortuna dell'antico nel mondo contemporaneo.

Nato a Palermo nel 1949, si è laureato nel 1970 presso la Facoltà di Lettere dell'Università di Roma La Sapienza con il professor Santo Mazzarino. Ha insegnato storia antica e storia romana presso l'Università degli Studi "Gabriele D'Annunzio" di Chieti, l'Università degli Studi di Firenze, l'Università degli Studi di Palermo, l'Università degli Studi di Bari - "Aldo Moro" e l'Università di Roma La Sapienza.
