Bonnie L. Schermer was born in Gary, Indiana, but grew up in Parkersburg and Charleston, West Virginia. Returning to Indiana for college, she married Gordon Schermer and reared two daughters. The daughters went to college, married, then moved back home with their very strange husbands. Today Bonnie lives with Gordon, one ugly dog, and three beautiful cats. In an attempt to stay out of trouble, Bonnie works at a pet medical center and works on her next story.
