Damir Šodan is a Croatian poet, translator, editor, and playwright born in Split in 1964. He studied English and History in Zagreb and has published about thirty books, including major poetry translations and anthologies. A former UN translator in the Netherlands, he now works as a freelance writer, often residing in Split.
