Starr Sanders was born in Waco, TX. Shortly after she was born, her family moved to the northeastern suburbs of Illinois, where she was raised.

She has always been an avid reader of books with supernatural themes. As a child, she started writing her own stories. The stories were incredibly short at first. As she grew older, though, those stories became longer. Her first full-length novel was penned at the tender age of seventeen.

Her first novel (BloodLust: The Beginning) was published in the year of 2006, and she will be releasing two novels in March of 2009: a romance comedy and the introductory chapter of a young adult horror series (Hidden Treasures: Switched). She currently has two other pseudonyms: Skye Sanders and Shiloh Sanders.
