Knuts Lesiņš (1909–2000) – rakstnieks, profesionāls mūziķis, pazīstams žurnālists un kultūras procesu vērtētājs. Dzimis rakstnieka Valda Lesiņa ģimenē, līdzās vispārizglītojošajiem priekšmetiem un izglītībai mērķtiecīgi pilnveidojies mūzikas jomā - profesionāls mūziķis un komponists. Pirmās literārās publikācijas kopš 1929. gada. 1944. gadā devās bēgļu gaitās uz Vāciju, kopš 1950. gada dzīvoja ASV. Vairāku grāmatu autors. Iegūto mūzikas izglītību izmantoja dzīvodams ASV, kur izveidoja savu mūzikas studiju un strādāja par mūzikas skolotāju.

Dzimis mērnieka Valda Voldemara Lesinga (vēlākā rakstnieka Valda Lesiņa; 1881-1932) un mājskolotājas Edvinas Berlingas (Lesiņas; 1884-1955)) ģimenē, vienīgais bērns. Bērnība daļēji paiet Sibīrijā un Krievi ...more
