Seda Ulu, born in Istanbul in 1989, first studied International Relations before following her passion for cinema, performing arts and writing through creative writing education.

Her debut novel, Light in the Darkness, quickly drew readers in with its emotional depth, compelling characters, and dynamic storytelling. The story continued with Darkness in the Light, a powerful sequel exploring love, sacrifice, inner conflict, and the fragile line between darkness and light.

With her newly released novel The Shadow, Seda Ulu brings this journey to its final chapter, completing the trilogy. Through this last book, she invites readers back into a world shaped by love, pain, choices, and the shadows that follow every heart.

“In the absence of darkness, light cannot manifest, and without light, darkness is undefined. These two entities exist in a harmonious duality, each giving meaning and substance to the other, intertwined in an eternal dance that defines their very existence.”
Seda Ulu, Light In The Darkness #1

“Do you know how I love you? My spirit leisurely roams around yours until it discovers a crevice. It then trickles inward through that crevice, pouring my affection into its depths. Yet, as the same crevice resides within my own soul, I inadvertently inflict pain upon you, for our crevices are sharp and profound.”
Seda Ulu, Darkness In The Light #2

“An overwhelming sensation welled up inside me, a profound
feeling I struggled to contain upon his appearance. I found myself
disliking the way he left me feeling vulnerable and drained,
as if he had taken control of my very being. We were bound by
invisible chains, our fates intertwined inescapably. I felt powerless
to resist his allure. How could I resist, when he represented the
embodiment of my darkest impulses? However, even within the
depths of darkness, a glimmer of light can be found. To discover
the brightness within me, I knew I had to confront and embrace my
own shadows. And so, I shall embark on this journey by unearthing the story of my darker side...”

Seda Ulu, Darkness In The Light #2

“He held the map of my soul in his hands, tracing its contours with a knowing touch. He followed its paths with precision, marking the way and pausing at crucial junctures. Was he really a demon, then? The clash within my being rekindled. While seeking light in the darkness, I found myself being drawn from light into shadows. Who was I, truly?”
Seda Ulu, Darkness In The Light #2

“In that moment, a silent conversation took place within my mind, and I made a solemn promise to myself that I would never allow such incidents to break me again. Determination surged through me as I resolved to become a strong and fearless woman, one who commanded respect rather than cowering in fear.”

Yogini Miranda Galina's effort to discover the light in her soul captivated me from the first page. There was a time when I was lost and fought this battle. Maybe that's why I felt her feelings so intensely. This story is very meaningful and successfully written.

Brandon You have a very powerful pen. Each book portrays the dark and light sides of the characters in a different way.
A very impressive work.
