Would be interested to know if you considered it a historical romance. I hadn't intended it to be so. I intended it to be historical, with elements of romance and mystery. I also intended it to be 3 main characters, and not 2, somewhat in the fashion of the Poldark novels, although much shorter and 'lighter'.

Hi BJ. Back home now for a week and so back onto my own computer and able to access things better. Hopefully you can send me a personal message via this. Have you found errors? That is what I was wondering. I've found a couple of speech marks missing and although I changed the word 'shock' to surprise, it is still there as shock. Computers never fail to amaze me. Also, near the end I felt I could have made it perhaps clearer that there was a time gap between sending to the Lord Lieutenant and his turning up!
