Carlix Alfonzo grew up surrounded by books in a small town in Venezuela. An engineer by profession and a writer by passion, she began creating her own stories at the age of 13, in the midst of the golden age of the Internet and fanfiction.

When she discovered that people actually read and liked what she wrote, she kept writing. Her debut novel, HIBRIS, is the product of several years of practicing with other people's characters to begin telling her own stories. ...more
