My name is Marshall S. Thomas and I am the author of the six-part Soldier of the Legion science fiction series, set in the far future, and also a second series, Prophet of ConFree. I recently completed writing the sixth book in the second series which will be published in a few months.

I love writing and write for the sheer joy of it. I was turned on to science fiction in the late '50s as a teenager and wanted to write SF from that moment. I didn't have the skills to do it until my early 40s when I began the first series. I had almost completed the series when it dawned on me that I had put so much work into it that I really should try to have it published. Dear Readers,

I am the author of the six-book Soldier of the Legion action-adventure science fiction series, and the more recent Prophet of ConFree series (three books so far). The Soldier series is still selling well as new readers discover the books, while many readers who have finished the Soldier series are moving on to the Prophet series.

I'd like to inform my readers that I have now combined the Soldier website and the Prophet website into one brand new combined website at soldierofthelegion.com . Full information on both series is now available on this one website. This is a spectacular website that features huge, colorful images and clear, clean formats. I am proud of it and urge everyone to take a look at it to learn about both series.

My thanks to all my readers. I have recently finished writing Book 4 of the Prophet series and am now editing it and expect it to be published in late 2015.
