“You can let the life and the family you were born into dictate the definition of your very being, regardless of what you do or do not have, or, with grit, self-sufficiency and self-reliance, you can rise above your circumstances, charter your own course and change your life, all the while empowering others to do the same. -Elise Crawford”

Thanks for accepting my friend request, Elise. You seem like an interesting person, as well as an accomplished author, so feel free to tell me more about yourself and perhaps we can grow to become even greater friends. I, myself, am a singer/songwriter/actor who has recently turned author. My 2 top ten recordings were CONCRETE & CLAY (as a singer) and NAVY BLUE (as a writer)...both in the early 1960's. My first novel is an unusual murder mystery entitled: FORBIDDEN STEPS.Regards, and have a great day, Ed

Kudos and hats off to this famous author and story teller who runs a free 'Story Club' from hiswebsite www.FloydTheDog.com for the benfit of animal charities. Visit him there and join in. It does not cost a thing, is totally safe, carries no advertising, makes no appeals. And most importantly it helps animals. OOOO, Elise
Hi Elise! You and I have a lot in common. I lost a daughter in 1998 to AIDS, and then her mother was murdered by an estranged boyfriend a year later. I know writing your memoir was extremely painful and yet therapeutic. Sharing your experience helps others see that love and joy transcend the pain. May you find peace in "the God of all comfort." (2 Corinthians 1:3-7) ZD
Many thanks, Elise. You are a very nice friend. I wish you everything wonderful and good. Take care.
Hello Elise,How are you? Thank you for being my friend. Good fortune on your book. I wish you all the best.

My apologies for being late with this. It's been an extremely busy year.
Thank you for becoming my friend. I write Regency romance including Pride and Prejudice variations.
Hope you have a lovely weekend.
