The book everyone is talking about did not disappoint. I'm a fan of epistolary novels in general, and this one felt original and moving. Refreshing, too, to read about a septuagenarian for a change. I'm hoping that between The Correspondent, The Thur ...more |

"By now I've read all of Bell's books, I'm pretty sure. In no particular order, horror and mystery alike. This book is an odd ball, it's seems to be published as a horror, but, aside from slight supernatural undertones, this is very much a mystery thr"

Just read a pretty decent first novel called /Wild Girls/, in which the villain is a "Dr. David Bell," handsome folklorist, academy headmaster and seducer of young women, who gets ripped apart by a gang of maenads. I think you'd like it. :-) Wild Girls

C.J. HeckHello Molly,
It's such a pleasure having you as a friend. Thank you and best wishes!
My warmest regards,
CJ
You really do write good reviews, Molly. There are many outfits out there willing to pay for review writing but the majority will at least give you a free book. I'd think about this and maybe even start up your own web page reviewing books. If you do this then MOST publishers will send their very first printed copies to librarians and review writers FREE. You simply read it then give them their review. ALL of them want to print good reviews of their books BEFORE these books come out to the public.
