Viktor Noevich Komarov (Russian: Виктор Ноевич Комаров) (1924-2001) was a Soviet and Russian astronomer, science fiction writer, journalist and popularizer of science.

He was born in Rostov-on-Don. He lived in the village of Milyutinskaya, then moved to Moscow. Graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Moscow State University (student of Igor Evgenievich Tamm) and for many years worked as an employee of the Moscow Planetarium, where he was chairman of the astronomical section.
