Nascida no Ribatejo, a 11 de junho de 1947, residiu muitos anos no seu monte, no distrito de Beja. Faleceu em junho de 2021, em Lisboa.

Tendo estudado no Instituto de Odivelas, onde já era uma referência no desenho e na pintura, estudou depois publicidade e marketing, publicando ilustrações em inúmeras revistas e periódicos, como na Visão, Flama, Observador, etc. Estudou, entretanto, também gravura com Ilda Reis (1923-1998), tendo sido responsável pela imagem da revista Máxima e trabalhando na edição de trabalhos de inúmeros autores, como de Mário-Henrique Leiria (1923-1980), Maria Alberta Menéres (1930-2019) ou Maria Teresa Horta (1937-).
