When Simbarashe was 2, he wanted to live next door to Elliott in E.T.
When he was 7, he made-believe that he was the star in all of his favourite films and a classmate named Kelly was his leading lady.
When he was 10, he got beat up a lot.
His 14th birthday was one of the most significant days of his life.
When he was 17, he completed his first full-length manuscript.
He wrote Veronasongs in its entirety at a computer lab in a community college in Brooklyn.
Warsongs, on the other hand, was an entire different animal.
He currently resides on New York's Upper West Side.

Flew over the moon with a Radio Flyer

I was two years old when I discovered imagination, but I was eight when I discovered that imagination could be transformed into fiction.

To put this into literally context, I did cartwheels when these arrived via Amazon today. They've been out of print for over 15 years. These are books 1 and 3 (I'm still waiting for book 2) but I'm elated to have them. This is the series that inspired me convert
