Lathika George is a landscape designer, environmentalist and organic gardener. She is the author of The Kerala Kitchen, published in New York (Hippocrene Books 2009) and adapted in India as The Suriani Kitchen (Penguin Random House 2017) She writes about food, design, travel, gardening, sustainable landscapes and the environment; she also has a column in the Hindu Metroplus called The Essential Kitchen Gardener.
