Bachelor's degree in history from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1992), Beatriz G. Mamigonian is master and PhD in History from the University of Waterloo, Canada (2002). Mamigonian was visiting professor at Michigan State University and is a Professor (Associate level IV) of the Department of History at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and integrates the graduate program in history at the same University. Currently coordinates the graduate program in the history of the UFSC. Was visiting professor at Michigan State University (2008).
