Autor de la novela Lejanos guerreros (Paraíso Perdido: 2016), de los libros de cuentos La taza de chocolate y otras historias (Ediciones Arlequín: 2010, 2013) y Palabras de perro (Vavelia: 2007, Esqualo: 2019); también es coautor del libro de historia: El japonés que conquistó Guadalajara (Universidad de Guadalajara / Biblioteca Pública del Estado de Jalisco: 2009), obra que fue traducida al japonés y publicada en Tokio por Gendaikikakushitsu Publishers en 2010. Cuentos suyos aparecen en las antologías Río entre las piedras (Paraíso Perdido: 2015) e Instantánea. Álbum de narrativa jalisciense contemporánea (Paraíso Perdido: 2016).
Es Licenciado en Historia por la Universidad de Guadalajara, especializado en administración de archivos.
