Iris Milagro Zavala Zapat, catedrática de Literatura y Teoría Literaria en la Universidad de Utrech (Holanda), doctora honoris causa por la Universidad de Puerto Rico y por la Universidad de Málaga, su quehacer intelectual abarca las más diversas disciplinas (teoría literaria, historia de las ideas, historia política), además de la creación literaria.
